Whitney Talbert Spooner of Marietta has completed the degree requirements for a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership at Kennesaw State in the University System of Georgia.

Commencement was held July 30 in the Convocation Center on Kennesaw State University Campus.

Mrs. Spooner is a l998 graduate of Briarwood Academy in Warrenton, attended Young Harris College in Young Harris, and is a 2002 summa cum laude graduate of Piedmont College in Demorest.

She has been employed with the Cobb County School System for the past four years and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership for Learning at Kennesaw State University.

Mrs. Spooner is the daughter of former Washington residents, John and Linda Pollock Talbert, who now reside in Waycross.
