The final deadline for registration to play soccer with the Washington- Wilkes Parks and Recreation program has been extended to August 29. The registration fee is $35. No late sign-ups will be accepted.

Games will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

There will be five age groups: 5-6 years old; 7-8 years old; 9-11 years old; 12-14 years old; 15-17 years old. Children age 17 must show birth certificate or proof of birth date. Children must be age 5 before October 1, 2008.

Practice will begin the week of August 18.
