Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and Washington- Wilkes Middle School have announced Monday, September 8, as the date of a joint Open House for parents and students of each school. Between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., parents may pick up their child's latest progress report of this semester and meet with teachers. This will be the first Open House of the 2008-09 school year.

It is the desire of both W-WCHS and W-WMS to enhance parent/ school communications. "We are committed to monitoring student progress and providing opportunities for parents to be informed and address concerns they may have," said Steve Echols, W-WCHS Principal. "Through preventive measures and parent/school collaboration, the students of WWCHS and WWMS can experience greater success.

"So, please come out and support this event, meet the educators involved in your child's life, and learn about wonderful things happening at W-WCHS and W-WMS," he said.
