The First Baptist Church, Washington, will have a seven-week study for women on "The Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie Omartian, beginning October 1.

There will be two sessions each week, each containing the same material. There will be sessions on Wednesday mornings from 9 until 11 a.m., beginning October 1; and on Thursday evenings from 7 until 9 p.m., beginning October 2.

The only cost is for a workbook for $15. The workbooks will be available in the church office or at the first session. Child care will be provided.

"Stormie Omartian has led millions of women into deeper, more fulfilling prayer lives," said a spokesman for First Baptist. "Now, through her knowledge of the Scripture and candid examples of her own epiphanies in prayer she will show how to draw closer to God; know His plans and purposes for life; and received comfort, help, and strength for everyday living."
