August 25 -- Doris and Trey Rhodes visited Mrs. Lois Flynt. ƒ Madge Bailey visited Mrs. Eva Reed. ƒMrs. Nancy C. Gunby visited her home on Barnett Street. ƒLinda and Brennah Griggs visited Mrs. Sara Curtis.

August 26 -- Sue Davis and Lois Poss held exercise classes for the residents.

August 27 -- Mrs. Marie Gleaton's daughter Jeanette visits her every day. ƒMrs. Eva Reed went with Caroline Jump and Steven Jump to Augusta. ƒSandra Massey visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell and took her out to lunch. ƒJulie, Nadine, and Margie came to minister in song and prayers. ƒMrs. Nancy C. Gunby went shopping. ƒJohn Webster visited Mayo Dodson. ƒMarie Jackson visited Mrs. Helen Jackson. ƒAlbert and Eudora Huyck presented piano music, devotional, singing, and prayer for the residents. ƒSandra Pope visited Mrs. Pete Strother. ƒJane Hill visited Mrs. Lois South. ƒSharon Williamson visited Mrs. Bessie Skipper.

August 28 -- Susan Spence visits Dale Spence every day. ƒInez Hall visits Mrs. Pete Strother every day. ƒBarry and Ann Rogers visited Jake Maddox. ƒThe residents played bingo and won prizes. We had loads of fun. ƒMayo Dodson is in the hospital. The residents would like to send their prayers, and wish him a speedy recovery.

August 29 -- Rob Strother and Trey Kennedy visited Mrs. Pete Strother. ƒMrs .Lillie Crawford visited residents. ƒAlina Kuzina visited residents and gave manicures.

August 30 -- Last Sunday on August 24, the Church of the Lord Jesus had its 45th church anniversary. Mistress of Ceremonies was Shirley Smith. The church was started by John W. Evans, and Pearl Chapman. The sermon was given by Marcella Harden on forgiving people. The singing was beautiful and we had a songwriter and recording artist there that sang a beautiful song. Her name was Coretta Evans. There was lunch and fellowship afterwards. It was a rewarding and great day. ƒWayne and Sharon Williamson visited Mrs. Bessie Skipper. ƒSusan Spence took Dale Spence home for the Labor Day weekend.

ƒFaye Bufford went on an outing with her sister, Donna Bufford. ƒClara Sutton visited Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby.

August 31 -- Faye Bufford went to the Church of the Lord Jesus in Crawfordville with Marlena, Tracy, Robert, and LeeLee. ƒMyrna Richardson visited Mrs. Marie Gleaton. ƒNanci Faulk, Jade Brown, and Ben Norman visited Miss Carrie Norman. ƒMarie Jackson visited Mrs. Helen Jackson. ƒFaye Bufford came back from the Church of the Lord Jesus. Minister Greg Perkins gave a magnificent sermon. I cried because I was praying about my son being in Iraq. His name is Ryan Hardy. Minister Perkins put my mind at ease when he said God was looking out for Ryan. ƒMrs. Pete Strother attended Katie Pope's first birthday party with Sandra and Pembroke Pope in Canton. Katie is the daughter of Pembroke and Chrissie Pope.
