Pole Branch holds homecoming and revival services

2008-09-04 / News

Members, friends, and relatives of the Pole Branch Missionary Baptist Church of Tignall had their annual homecoming Sunday, August 24, followed by revival services Monday through Friday, August 25-29, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night.

Sunday was the beginning of a great week to come. Pastor Glaze delivered an inspirational message entitled "Moved by the Spirit of God." The choir sang several "hot" spiritual songs which were enjoyed by all. Visitors from several counties and states were in attendance as well as visitors from neighboring churches. Delicious food was served at the end of the service.

Rev. George L. Edwards, pastor of the Thankful Baptist Church of Lincolnton, was the guest speaker for the week. He delivered an inspirational message each night. Again, members from neighboring churches were in attendance. We can truly say our souls were revived.

You are welcome to visit with us at Pole Branch at any time. Rev. Joe L. Glaze of Elberton is the pastor.
