Supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Dunnaway Sunday evening were Wade and Lisa Dunnaway, Kevin and Allison Holt of Martinez, and Laura Epps and Tyler of Augusta. ƒGreg Phillips of North Augusta visited his dad, Richard Phillips, and Brenda recently. ƒMiss Grace Dunaway has not been feeling real well lately. We hope she feels better soon. Visitors have been Tommy and Regina Dunnaway and Bobbi and Wayne Thornton. ƒCol. Terry Boswell of Claremore, Oklahoma, his son, Hamlin Boswell of Atlanta, and grandson, William, visited Mrs. Jenelle Newsome Saturday afternoon. Jim and Karan Newsome also visited. ƒRev. Jim Newsome of Rayle and Mrs. Jenelle Newsome attended the funeral of her cousin, Mrs. Christine Hopkins, at the First Baptist Church in Washington Thursday. ƒI spent several nights in Augusta last week with my dad, Henry Wallace, who is a patient at the University Hospital. So I apologize, but I do not have very much news this week due to the holiday and my week in Augusta.

ƒBurt Newsome and friend, Margaret Rae Evans, spent the weekend in Hawkinsville visiting her relatives. ƒRichard and Brenda Phillips spent Wednesday in Augusta. Richard and Brenda, and Stephanie Haynes had lunch in Wrens Friday at the Little Dutch House. Stephanie, Skyla and Chip spent the weekend with Richard and Brenda. Saturday morning, Richard and Brenda attended the breakfast for Jeff Johnson who is a candidate for sheriff. ƒEbenezer Baptist Church had a good day Sunday, although about half of our regulars were away.
