Pre-K holds first chapel service
     The First Baptist Church Pre-K had its first chapel service of the school year on September 7 in the Jesse Mercer Chapel. Kay Nelms told the story of Noah's Ark and the awesome powers of God. Dean Mansfield played the piano and led the students in singing several songs. Each child was given a wooden-carved animal to hold during the service. Teachers are Jeannie Bruce and Angie Williams.

Mallorysville plans homecoming for Sunday, Sept. 28
      Homecoming at Mallorysville Baptist Church is set for Sunday, September 28, with a covered dish dinner after the worship service. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and the worship service at 11 a.m. Revival services will begin Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul Revere bringing the message each night through Wednesday, October 1. Everyone is welcome.
