Joshua and Samantha Parker of Rayle announce the birth of their daughter, Hallie Marie, on Tuesday, August 19, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens. Hallie weighed 6 lbs. 8 ozs. and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Cecile Poss and Kenneth and Sheila Poss of Rayle. Maternal great-grandparents are Marion Poss and the late Newton Poss and the late Cecil and Pearl Vaughn of Rayle.

Paternal grandparents are Thomas and Sandra Parker of Rayle. Paternal great-grandparents are Jake and Louise Guest of Athens and Betty Berry and the late Bradley Berry of Rayle.

Mrs. Parker is the former Samantha Poss of Rayle.
