Bride-elect Ashlyn Winfrey honored at luncheon Sept. 13
The home of Hollie Hutto on Main Street in Warrenton was the scene of a luncheon honoring bride-elect Ashlyn Winfrey Saturday, September 13. Mary Lynn McCullough of Warrenton was a co-hostess with Mrs. Hutto.
Miss Winfrey, bride-elect of Ryan Reese, was lovely in a yellow and white picot dress.
A tea cart adorned with a bud vase of mixed flowers held the bride's book for guests to sign as they arrived.
Lovely bouquets of spring flowers centered the tables covered in white cutwork cloths.
From the buffet guests enjoyed chicken salad, chilled asparagus with curry sauce, fresh fruits, pimento cheese with crostini points, and trays of assorted breads in flavors of banana, Key Lime and pumpkin. Mrs. Hutton offered the luncheon blessing.
The hostesses presented Miss Winfrey a beautiful silver tray.
During the event, Mrs. Hutto shared with the guests memories of the bride-elect from beginning with their first meeting when the brideelect was quite young.
Forty guests were invited. Special out-of-town guests traveling the farthest to joined family and friends for the luncheon were the bride-elect's aunt, Kathleen Price and Carmine Cowart of Savannah.
