After a summer pause to attend various revival meetings, Springfield Baptist Church will begin its weekly Bible study program Tuesday, September 23, at 7 p.m.

With the exception of "election night" on November 4, the Bible study will meet each Tuesday night and for the next three months attempt to give parents and grandparents insight into Biblical principles in raising children and grandchildren. Rev. Ed Anderson is the Bible study facilitator.

"We will employ a community forum format involving resource people and panelists with experience and training in child rearing," Pastor Norman Williams says. "Participants will be so pleased as they grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding about how to follow Biblical guidelines in raising their children," he said.

No reservations are needed. Everyone is invited to participate.
