Drugs, driving under the influence most common in September roundup of law enforcement arrests

Drug arrests, drunk driving, and property crimes lead the roundup of September arrests by Wilkes County and state authorities.

James Kittle, 36, of Tignall, was arrested September 25 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with possession of methamphetamine; and with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is held on $30,000 bond.

Craig Edwin Hill, 34, of Tignall, was arrested September 25 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with possession, distribution, or manufacture of methamphetamine. He is held on $25,000 bond.

Stephanie Veronica Thomas, 29, of Washington, was arrested September 20 by Washington Police and charged with felony possession with intent to distribute; driving under the influence; and speeding (26-30 miles over). She was held on a probation violation.

Chad E. Dunn, 34, of Wilkes County, was arrested September 7 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by taking, and with burglary. He was held for Oglethorpe County authorities and state probation.

Hollie Morgan, 37, of Wilkes County, was arrested September 7 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by receiving stolen property; and with forgery in the first degree. She was held on $13,000 bond.

Tyrone Smith, 26, of Wilkes County, was arrested Augustst 28 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with violation of the Georgia controlled substances statute. He was released on his own recognizance.

John Small, 41, of Tignall, was arrested September 7 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with aggravated stalking; and with using "fighting words" and obscene language in a phone call. He was held on $253,000 bond.

Randy Lawrence Ray, 37, of Elberton, was arrested September 27 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence, and driving without a license. He was released on $1,527 bond.

Jamal Binns, 22, of Washington, was arrested September 28 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence. He was held on $814 bond.

David Wynn, 34, of Wilkes County, was arrested September 21 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on $1,628 bond.

Montoya Rurnichia Jackson, 26, of Washington, was arrested September 27 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence, and driving while license is withdrawn, and with driving too fast for conditions. She was released on $3,248 bond.

Stephen Callaway, 60, of Donner, La., was arrested September 12 by Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence; and with misdemeanor possession of marijuana (under 1 oz.). He was released on $3,354 bond.

Joy Ray, 50, of Washington, was arrested September 12 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence, and driving with an expired tag. She was released on $1,822 bond.

Tony Dake, 53, of Comer, was arrested September 7 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence; leaving the scene of an accident; and a traffic violation. He was released on $3,500 bond.

Horace Browner III, 25, of Monroe, Ga., was arrested September 22 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving while license withdrawn. He was held on $1,500 bond.

William Dake, 37, of Comer, was arrested September 7 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with leaving the scene of an accident. He was released on payment of a cash fine.

Cameron Gaffney, 19, of Piedmont, S.C., was arrested September 6 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence; possession of marijuana (less than 1 oz.); possession of alcohol by a minor; and driving without a license. He was released on September 10 to military authorities.

Jack Bundrick, 43, of Canon, Ga., was arrested Augustst 30 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence and with a traffic violation. He was released on $1,822 bond.

Christopher Denham, 28, of Statesboro, was arrested August 30 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on $814 bond.

Jimmy Evans, 48, of Rayle, was arrested Augustst 23 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on $1,628 bond.

Roxanne Cobb, 36, of Washington, was arrested Augustst 27 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence. She was released on $1,628 bond.

Elijah Davis, 22, of Washington, was arrested August 30 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence, and with driving without a license. He was released on $1,527 bond.

Charles C. Palmer, 29, of Washington, was arrested August 28 by Washington Police and charged with driving while license withdrawn. He was released on $713 bond.

James Barrow, 50 of Tignall, was arrested August 30 by Washington Police and charged with driving with an expired vehicle tag; affixing license plate with intent to conceal; and driving while tag is suspended. He was released on $1,938 bond.

Joyce J. Harrington, 58, of Washington, was arrested August 30 by Washington Police and charged with driving while license withdrawn. She was released on $3,826 bond.

Travers Walton, 41, of Tignall, was arrested August 31 by Washington Police and charged with driving while tag is suspended. He was released on $1,426 bond.

Justin Bentley, 18, of Lincolnton, was arrested September 8 by Washington Police and charged with speeding (26-30 over) and with driving while license withdrawn. He was released on $1,704 bond.

Tartimaeus Garnett, 32, of Washington, was arrested September 11 by Washington Police and charged with driving while tag is suspended, and with driving with no insurance. He was released on $2,292 bond.

Robert Lee Jones, 50, of Washington, was arrested September 12 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on $566 bond

Roger Mahoney, 38, of Washington, was arrested September 20 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with failure to appear. No bond was indicated.

Theron E. Wilkinson, 31, of Washington, was arrested September 20 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with false imprisonment (FVA), and with battery (FVA). He was released on $13,000 bond.

Edna Desiree Spellins, 20, of Tignall, was arrested September 20 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by taking. She was released on $5,000 bond.
