Harper's Personal Care residents enjoy visiting with family, friends
September 22 - Bobby Blakey and Doris Rhodes visited Mrs. Lois Flynt. ƒRev. Dale Fincher presented church, singing and prayer for the residents. ƒMrs. Nancy C. Gunby visited her house on Barnett Street and went on another outing. ƒMadge Bailey took Mrs. Eva Reed to her house for lunch and then they went shopping. ƒMarie Jackson visited Mrs. Helen Jackson.
September 23 - Sue Davis held exercise classes for the residents. ƒSusan Spence took Dale Spence out for supper. ƒ Tom Wells visited Mrs. Martha Wells. ƒGeneva Mercer and Horace Buflower visited Mrs. Bessie Skipper. ƒLaura Cleveland visiteed Mrs. Lois Flynt. Mrs. Flynt went on an outing with Laura and Jasmine Cleveland. ƒLela Kelly and Donna W. Mixon visited Mrs. Helen Jackson and brought her some snacks. ƒAlbert and Eudora Huyck presented piano music, singing, and devotional for the residents. ƒ Sara and Stanley Parton visited George Melvin Cawley.
September 24 - Sandra Massey visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell. ƒMembers of the Washington Church of God and Church In Christ presented fellowship, singing, and prayer for the residents.
September 26 - Mrs. Lillie Crawford visited residents. ƒAlina Kuzina visited residents and gave manicures. ƒJim and Linda Griggs visited Mrs. Sara Curtis. ƒPastor Bertha Evans and her two grandsons, Michael Bowman Jr. and Trey Bowman, visited Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby and Faye Bufford. We were certainly glad to see them.
September 27 - Mrs. Lois Flynt went to Cochran with Olin and Rose Newby, Doris and Sanders Rhodes, and Laura and Jasmine Cleveland to celebrate Olin Newby's mother's birthday. She is 90 years old. ƒMrs. Nell Walls spent the night with her daughter Becki. ƒMrs. Bessie Skipper spent the day with Wayne and Sharon Williamson and enjoyed a visit from Lucy Williamson. ƒMarie Jackson visited Mrs. Helen Jackson. ƒTy and Gerrin Norman visited Miss Carrie Norman and sang and played the guitar for her. Jimmy and Willene Norman visited Miss Carrie.
September 28 - Faye Bufford went to the Church of the Lord Jesus with Pastor Evans, Tracy and Khaliah Graves. Pastor Evans and Minister Greg Perkins gave power packed sermons today. The praise team sang beautiful songs. ƒMrs. Pete Strother went to church with Teresa Burdette and had lunch with Lewis and Inez Hall. ƒScottie Ferrell volunteered helping the residents today and visited Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby. ƒSandra Pope visited Mrs. Pete Strother and other residents. ƒ Tom Jackson visited Mrs. Helen Jackson. ƒMrs. Lois South went on an outing with Jane Hill.
