Habitual DUI driver crashes again

Georgia State Patrol Trooper Delston Branch counts the empty liquor bottles next to the crashed Ford truck driven by Emmett A. "Mickey" Taylor. Branch said Taylor is a habitual DUI offender and apparently drove his grandmother's truck and crashed late Friday on Stony Ridge Road. After the crash, he was carried by air ambulance to MCG in Augusta. Branch said his family said Taylor suffered a broken neck in the crash, and it was not his first crash or his first broken neck. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving as a habitual violator, and a tag charge. No one else was injured in the crash.
