Anne Hardy was honored on the occasion of her 80th birthday at a celebration on Saturday, Septem- ber 20, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Donna Hardy, on the Lincolnton Road in Washington. Her birthday was September 23.

Mrs. Hardy's daughters, Helen Bentley of Augusta and Dianne Bentley of Lincolnton, assisted in making the celebration a huge success.

Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a number of friends were in attendance.

Fried fish and all the trimmings were served in addition to a beautiful flowered cake wishing the guest of honor health and happy wishes completed the evening.
