The historic Washington Presbyterian Church is undergoing a renovation of its steeple, with new roofing, new wood where needed, and louvers replaced. But when the workmen took the cherrypicker up and got a close look at the metal ball on the steeple's weathervane, they got a little surprise, and we all got a little insight about Washington-Wilkes.
