A second quarterly Chamber After-Hours is set for October 23 at one of the city's newest businesses, Retro Cinema & Books. The drop-in event is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. at 114 Spring Street. The Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce will also hold its annual community banquet December 4 at the Pope Center, starting at 6:30 p.m. with a meet-and-greet, with dinner and an awards presentation starting at 7.
