Ashlyn Winfrey entertained at bridesmaids' luncheon Oct. 3
Southern Elegance Bed and Breakfast Inn on West Robert Toombs was the setting for a bridesmaids' luncheon honoring bride-elect Ashlyn Winfrey Friday, October 3.
Hostesses for the occasion were Pam Hinesley of Conyers, Donna Jones of Evans and Donna Yocum of Sautee.
Miss Winfrey, bride-elect of Ryan Reese of Evans, was lovely in a brown dress topped with a green and brown bolero jacket.
Tables for the luncheon were beautifully decorated with mint julep cups holding white hydrangeas, Tropicana spray roses, hypericum berries and variegated golden and Burgundy goldenrod. Place cards marked the seating also finished with favors of M&M's featuring the prospective bridal couple's names and wedding date. An added fea- ture on the bridesmaids' table was chocolate bridesmaids' dolls.
Pam Hinesley greeted guests and offered the blessing for the meal.
The delicious four-course luncheon included crab cakes, vegetable soup and corn muffins, tropical salad with champagne dressing, and a choice of either spinach and cheese or ham and broccoli quiche.
The bridesmaids and flower girls pulled charms from the beautiful and delicious charm cake.
After the luncheon course the bride-elect presented her attendants pearl necklaces, bracelets and earrings for the wedding and each a monogrammed bag to be used the day of the wedding.
Twenty-eight guests attended and included the ladies of the bridal party, family and friends.
