Vendor spaces still available for festival
Vendor spaces are still available for the 7th Annual I'd Rather Be in Tignall Fall Festival.
There is only one more week before this annual event. It's not too late to get
space so call Carolyn Gammon or Gloria Ware as soon as possible. The fee for spaces under the pavilion is $25; and $10 for outside the pavilion.
This is a great opportunity for churches to have booths to raise funds for particular project. The schedule for the day will be in the paper next week. The festival will start at 10 a.m. and close at
p.m.
Frankie Ware has built 12 benches for seating. This is a plus for our festival. No one will need to bring a lawn chair. We have plenty of picnic tables for eating and places to sit and chat with old friends during the festival. Frankie is very handy person since he also built most of the picnic table that are used for the festival.
Thanks to Jack and Jean Rhodes who have sent some old pictures to be added to our old photo display. It's not too late to send your pictures. The old lunchroom will be a great place for reminiscing.
This year there will be not only the "I'd Rather Be in Tignall" tee shirts but also sweatshirts. The shirts look great. Now where else will you be able to find a shirt with a water tank that has "I'd Rather be in Tignall" printed on it?
The North Wilkes Steering Committee will meet one more time before the festival on Monday, October 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the school lunchroom.
