Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Brannen of Fort Gipson, Miss., announce the birth of their son, Joshua Wayne, on Thursday, October 9, in Jackson, Miss. Joshua weighed 7 lbs. 15 ozs.

Maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Ken Harper of Macon. Mrs. Louise Harper of Tignall is the maternal great-grandmother.

Mrs. Brannen is the former Elizabeth Harper of Macon.

Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Gabriel Schantz of Dunwoody announce the birth of their daughter, Alice Olivia, and sons, Gabriel Ethan and Eli James, on Wednesday, October 1, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Alice weighed 3 lbs. 7 ozs and was 16 ½ inches long, Gabriel weighed 3 lbs. 1 oz. and was 16 ½ inches long, and Eli weighed 3 lbs. 3 ozs. and was 16 ¼ inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Barry Thompson of Washington.

Paternal grandparents are Mrs. Eileen Hawn and Robert Schantz of Seattle, Wash.

Mrs. Schantz is the former Amy Thompson of Washington.
