Tiffanie Holloway married to Adam Standard September 20
Mr. and Mrs. Adam Standard Tiffanie Suzanne Holloway and Adam Standard of Washington were married Saturday, September 20, at five o'clock in the afternoon in an impressive ceremony at First Baptist Church in Washington. Rev. Larry Doolittle of Augusta officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Barry Holloway of Washington and Vanessa Marcano of Chicago, Ill.
The bridegroom is the son of Darrell Standard of Metasville and Yvonne Bonner of Lincolnton.
The altar was decorated with spiral candelabra, ferns and brightlycolored arrangements that included Gerber daisies and roses.
Teresa Bishop of Washington, pianist, provided wedding music for the ceremony.
Mr. Standard served as his son's best man. Usher-groomsmen were Will Standard of Atlanta, brother of the bridegroom, Daniel Standard, cousin of the bridegroom, and Brian Mathews, both of Rayle.
Erin Vucic of Algonquin, Ill., was the honor attendant. She was attired in a white strapless top accented with a navy sash and navy floorlength skirt.
Bridesmaids were Andie Bridges of Washington, Leanne Mathews and Rhonda Standard, cousin of the bridegroom, both of Rayle. They wore navy tops with white accents and navy floor-length skirts.
Bouquets were a mix of brightlycolors flowers.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her father and mother, the bride was radiant in her white Casablanca gown. White pearls, silver embroidery and beading with Swarovski crystals adorned the strapless bodice. Matching bead- work embellished the cathedral train that extended from the full-length A-line skirt.
Her veil trailed from a custom headpiece of Swarovski crystals matching the gown.
Her bouquet of brightly-colored flowers continued the theme throughout the wedding.
Reception
A reception at the Washington- Wilkes Country Club following the ceremony.
The five-tiered wedding cake featured a different color for each tier.
The bridegroom had a University of Georgia cake.
Lauren Johnson of Washington served the cakes.
Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Standard are making their home in Washington.
