FUMC members enjoy trip to Highlands, N.C.

Several members of the First United Methodist Church met at the church early Monday morning, October 13, for a trip to Highlands, N.C.
The group stopped at McDonald's in Elberton for breakfast and continued on to Rabun Gap where they purchased apples and other produce.
They had lunch at Highside Restaurant in Highlands and enjoyed browsing the shops before a ride towards Franklin for a stop at Bridal Veil Falls.
On the trip were Rich and Gale Seibert, Hugh and Sue Warren, Adelaide Lindsey, Wilma Bunch, Lewis and Ann Cook, Bill and Linda Smith, Shelley Warrenfells and Logan, and Betsy Strother, Eli and Emory.
