The Mary C. Reid Women on Mission of the First Baptist Church met in the Conference Room of the church Tuesday morning, October 7.

Mrs. Dennis Hopkins presided and led the reading of the WMU Watchword.

Those with special needs were recognized.

After other business, the monthly mission action project was discussed.

Mrs. Eldon Holes offered the mis- sionary prayer calendar.

The program, "A Safari into Danger" from "Mosaic" magazine, was presented by Mrs. Gene Pollock, Mrs. Lynwood Cofer, Mrs. James Johnson and Mrs. Holes.

Mrs. Hopkins closed the meeting with prayer.

Members present were Mrs. Mary Ann Bentley, Mrs. Lynwood Cofer, Mrs. Eldon Holes, Mrs. Dennis Hopkins, Mrs. James Johnson, Mrs. Gene Pollock, Mrs. Charles Reese and Mrs. Frank Story.
