Beaverdam Baptist Church observed pastor appreciation day by recognizing Rev. and Mrs. John McMillian at the conclusion of the morning worship service on Sunday, October 12.

Richard Byrd, chairman of the deacons, asked Mrs. McMillian to join the pastor at the front. He then spoke for the church in expressing appreciation for all they do for the church, traveling from their home in Eatonton to do so.

After they were presented a gift in appreciation, members came forward with additional words of gratitude.

Rev. McMillian recently completed a series of sermons on Revelation and is currently bringing numerous minisermons while leading a study of "The Baptist Faith and Message, 2000."

The pastor and members of the church invite everyone to these and all services at Beaverdam with Sunday School beginning at 10:15 a.m. and worship at 11:00 each Sunday.
