I do hope you had a good week. Enjoy the fall, it's great. ƒEbenezer Baptist Church had another great day in the Lord's house. We had good attendance, good music, and great preaching. The fall festival at Ebenezer will be Saturday evening at 6 p.m. Come and enjoy hotdogs, chili, and fun and fellowship. Our appreciation to Linda, Johnny, and Laurie Shelton for organizing this and making it a great success each season. ƒSincere sympathy to all who recently lost loved ones. May God be with you. ƒHappy birthday to Phyllis Marett, Thomas Roth, Brittany Brown, and my nephew, Charles Wallace, and my niece, Ami Goff Romines. ƒDr. Tom Cofer of Aiken, S.C., visited his aunt, Mrs. Jenelle Newsome, Tuesday. ƒI visited my mother, Blanche H. Wallace, in Lincoln County Thursday. ƒI visited in the Ruth Bell home Saturday. Her children, Mary Alice and Tommy, and other family members were there and I especially wanted to see them all. Sincere love and sympathy to this family. ƒSarah Huff's visitors have been Linda Standard, Peyton Standard, Michael and Aubrye Mathe, and Connie and Misty Johnson. ƒI made a trip to Augusta Friday to visit two doctors. I had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dragon in Martinez. I also visited Richard and Judy Sleister in Columbia County. ƒRandy Goldman and Sarah Huff made two trips to Ft. Gordon and Augusta Tuesday and Thursday. ƒPeyton Standard of Columbia, S.C., spent the weekend with his grandmother, Linda Standard. Linda carried Peyton to Wrens Sunday to meet his mother to return home to Columbia. ƒOn Saturday, Linda Standard and Peyton Standard visited Mrs. Goodson in Augusta. ƒJamie, Charlene, and Anna Newsome of Martinez enjoyed the Rayle Ramble in Rayle on Saturday. They also visited with Rev. and Mrs. Jim Newsome. ƒOur prayer concerns include Claire Nelson, Manuel Wheatley, Henry Strother, Helen Lamar, Dot Shank, Jenelle Newsome, Mary Will Hawes, Clint Albea, Martin Burgess, Jane and Bennie Hudson, Frances Moon, Lessie Mae Young, Talmadge and Kathleen Reed, Warren and Lois Nunn, Lois South, Annie Kate Strother, Ethel B. Harris, Lucy B. McCorkle, Willie Ruth B.
