Harper's Personal Care residents enjoy visiting with family, friends

October 20 - Cheryl Massey and Carol Ann Scurlock visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell. ƒDoris and Trey Rhodes visited Mrs. Lois Flynt. ƒHappy 86th birthday to Mrs. Louise Bagwell. Her birthday was October 19. Her children, Martin Bagwell (Marie), Cheryl Massey (Shuler), and Carol Ann Scurlock (Don) gave her a birthday party at the Massey home in Bowman. In attendance were Billy and Sandra Massey and Buford and Jeannette Walker. ƒDee Arnold and Madge Bailey visited Mrs. Eva Reed. ƒJane Hill visited Mrs. Lois South. ƒMrs. Nell Wall's daughter Melissa visited her.

October 21 - Bobby Blakey visited Mrs. Lois Flynt. ƒCarol Ann and Don Scurlock visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell.

October 22 - Members of the Church of God and Church in Christ presented fellowship, singing, and prayer for the residents. ƒJoan G. Moon visited the residents. ƒSandra Pope visited Mrs. Pete Strother.

October 23 - Cheryl Massey and Sandra Massey visited Mrs. Louise Bagwell. ƒMrs. Sara Curtis' visitors were Dot Godfrey and Claude Godfrey from Colorado. Linda Griggs took them to lunch. ƒBettye Duke visited Mrs. Pete Strother. Eva Burdette also visited Mrs. Strother. ƒMargie Burke and Faye Thornton played bingo with the residents. It is sponsored by McDonald's. ƒAlbert and Eudora Huyck presented piano music, singing, devotionals, and prayer for the residents. ƒ Jade, Trey, and Shelby Kennedy visited Mrs. Pete Strother with Ann Saggus.

October 24 - Nancy C. Gunby went on an outing. ƒMrs. Lillie Crawford visited residents. ƒAlina Kuzina visited residents and gave manicures. ƒEd Cawley took Melvin Cawley to the home of their sister, Sarah and Stanley Parton, to eat oyster stew.

October 25 - Melissa Norman, Nell Wall's daughter, took her to visit her husband at Lake Crossing Nursing Home. ƒInez Hall and Mrs. Pete Strother went out to visit the quail hunters at Sandra and Pembroke Pope's home. Mrs. Pete Strother had dinner with them.

October 26 - Myra Richardson visited Mrs. Marie Gleaton. Jeanette visited her mother, Mrs. Gleaton. ƒMrs. Lois Flynt went with Doris Rhodes to the fall festival at Beulah Baptist Church. ƒMadge and Brian Bailey took Mrs. Eva Reed to the Dearing Church of God. ƒMrs. Pete Strother attended church at Ebenezer Baptist Church Sunday and went to Augusta with Inez Hall, Teresa and Russell Burdette , to visit her son, Henry Strother who had by-pass surgery last week. ƒRussell and Teresa Burdette visited Mrs. Lois South.
