Retro Cinema hosts Chamber After-Hours

The Washington-Wilkes business community enjoyed a second quarterly Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce After-Hours event last week at one of the city's newest businesses, Retro Cinema & Books. Crowds filled the Charleston-style back courtyard all evening for the Thursday evening drop-in event. Chamber Director Ashley Barnett said that tickets are available for the Chamber's big annual community banquet December 4 to be held at the Pope Center, starting at 6:30 p.m. with a meet-and-greet, followed by dinner and an awards presentation starting at 7. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office on The Square.
