The Holy Ghost

The Holy Ghost was sent back as a direct connection to God to Jesus. It is more proof of God's reality. My God is real because I can feel Him in my soul. It's that simple. Amen!

The Holy Ghost was also sent back not only as a comforter, guide, and teacher, but most importantly to endue the recipient with spiritual power from on high and as a convictor to convict the lost so they have the chance to come to repentance.

One lady said in her own homespun language, "The Holy Ghost will evict (convict) you." Well, maybe her word is right, because if you will let Him then He will evict

bring you out -- expel) you out from a life of sinful living. Amen!

The Holy Ghost is with us when He convicts and tugs at our heartstrings and He is in us when we are truly saved. I repeat. Truly saved! Because He will not dwell in an unclean temple and finally, when we receive the separate experience of the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence (proof) of speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives the utterance, then the Holy Ghost is upon us and gives us greater power to be an overcomer and to be a greater witness. He endues us with power. He energizes us with additional power from on high.

He is with us when He convicts us, then He is in us when we are saved, and last, but not least, He is upon us when we are baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire, the same way they were filled on the Day of Pentecost, and if you think that it was only for that day and time, then how badly wrong you are.

Many years after the Day of Pentecost, Paul the Apostle met some saved men who had never heard of the Holy Ghost baptism so Paul laid hands on them and they received it and spake in unknown tongues. Mind you, they were already saved with the Holy Spirit living in them. Let me tell you, folks. God is still pouring that blessing out on those who would seek it. I firmly believe that you have got to want it so badly that you will seek for it day and night diligently. Amen

The Holy Ghost baptism is to edify and uplift; to give out messages from God. God doesn't send e-mail. He sends out knee-mail through the Holy Ghost. Amen! Now, if you are saved and sanctified, then don't stop short. Get all that God has got to offer! You can receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire.

As I said earlier, we must wholeheartedly seek for that experience and oh what an experience it is and let me tell you, "You will know when you've got it and the proof is in the pudding!" Can you say amen?
