Johna Raine Busby, 12-year-old granddaughter of Patricia D. Bailey and the late Billy E. Bailey, ran three cross country track races for the Elbert County Middle School and won three medals. She ran at Jefferson against 175 runners and came in ninth. At Unicoi State Park, she was 19th out of 200 runners. At the region cross country race at the Hartwell Golf Course, she was fifth out of 150 runners.
