What a weekend we just experienced! What a weekend we have in store! Duke knocked the luster off Vandy's Cinderella season while Georgia ripped LSU in the Bayou to set up the showdown with Florida in Jacksonville Saturday.

Let's just dive right into this week's appetizing menu.

Georgia vs. Florida - Why not start with the BIG ONE! Were it not for Florida's upset loss to Ole Miss and Georgia's defeat by Bama this game would be tabbed another game of Game of the Century. In any event, this is one of the most important games played anywhere this season. Both teams have potent offenses and adequate defenses. The Gators are led by the nation's best player, QB Tim Tebow. The Dawgs feature one of America's best running backs in Knowshon Moreno. Both teams have superb lineups that could land the winner of this game in the National Championship game. To pick a winner I just flipped a coin. Florida by 3.

Tennessee at South Carolina - The Gamecocks need this one badly and have had two weeks to prepare. The Vols just can't get it together. South Carolina by 6.

Arkansas State at Alabama - The Red Wolves (Is there such an animal?) are the homecoming opponent as the Crimson Tide takes a breather before a trip to Baton Rouge next week. Bama by 24.

South Florida at Cincinnati - Both teams suffered somewhat surprising losses last Saturday. The Bulls lost a tough, close one to Louisville while the Bearcats were blown out by erratic Connecticut. If Cincinnati can regroup, the Bearcats are capable of defeating the Bulls at home. South Florida is very talented and should "take home the bacon." South Florida by 12.

Clemson at Boston College - The Eagles seem to be slipping, so the question is, "Will Dabo Swinney have the Tigers ready?" Old Claude sticks his neck out because the Tigers do have more talent. Clemson by 7.

FSU at Georgia Tech - These two teams seem to be going in opposite directions. The Noles have won 12 straight in the series. This should be 13. FSU by 10.

Duke at Wake Forest - Wake has lost three of the last four. Duke is "sky high" after upsetting nationally ranked Vanderbilt. Do Coach David Cutcliff's Blue Devils have another upset in their bag? Maybe, but Wake should bounce back in a close one. Wake Forest by 6.

Miami at Virginia - Last year Virginia shut out Miami 48-0 in the Canes' last game in the Orange Bowl. This year's game should be much closer, but the Cavaliers still win. Virginia by 9.
