Appreciation expressed for help with Ramble

To the Editor : We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, The News-Reporter, and all the people of Rayle, Washington- Wilkes, and surrounding areas for your support of the Rayle Ramble Fall Festival. We always appreciate the publicity given to our event in your paper, as well as other media outlets in the area.

We extend our utmost appreciation to the merchants of Wilkes County, who each year open their hearts to give and donate to our worthy cause of improving our city and volunteer fire department. We would like to especially thank Terry's IGA, Ingles, and the East Athens Kroger food stores for their contributions to our chicken barbecue which, as always, was a complete sellout.

We also would like to extend a very big thanks to Heartfelt Productions (Debbie Anderson), who donates her time, and the use of her equipment to produce our entertainment that gets better each year.

There are many members of the planning committee, fire department, and community who work tirelessly each year to make this event happen, and to name all of them would take too much space, and to omit any of them would surely be an injustice. So, another sincere thanks to all of you!
