Santa Claus is coming to town
      Ella (left) and Madeline Jackson were all smiles as they sat on Santa's knee and told their Christmas wishes at last year's Downtown Candlelight Shopping. The girls and many other children in Washington-Wilkes eagerly await Santa's return visit this year where he will greet the children at Washington Cellular on The Square during the shopping event November 25 from 6-9 p.m.

      Fulani Doughty of Washington has attained certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC). Currently employed by the Elbert County Board of Education as a guidance counselor, Doughty joins more than 40,000 NCCs who are certified through NBCC.
