Sable Marie Echols Matthew David Vanhart Mr. and Mrs. Randy Echols of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Sable Marie, to Matthew David Vanhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Vanhart of Washington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Moon of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Echols of Rayle, and Mr. and Mrs. William Thurmond of Tignall.

She is a 2007graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive School and is currently enrolled at Augusta State University where she is pursuing an education degree.

Mr. Vanhart is the grandson of Harold C. Vanhart Jr. and the late Norma Finney Vanhart of Conklin, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Huff of Washington.

He is employed with Anderson & Son, Inc., in Tignall.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, December 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Faith World Center of Augusta in Evans. Family and friends are invited to attend the wedding and may visit www.fwca.net for directions to the church.
