2008-11-06 / Personalities
C. Carol Cartledge enjoyed the weekend at the mountaintop home of her cousin, Carol Edwards Turner, in Mountain City.
The annual weekend house party was hosted by Mrs. Turner and her sister, Joy Edwards Hawk of Franklin, N.C., and Slidell, La.
Several weekend houseguests were joined by other friends on Saturday for the traditional gingerbread house decorating party.
Ladies were provided all the basics to "build" a gingerbread house of their design and many also brought other goodies and accessories to add special touches to their creations.
Lots of fellowship and good food were a part of the weekend festivities.
Fifteen guests were present for this year's event.
