Genevieve Coe plays at ASU honors string jamboreee in Augusta

Genevieve Coe of Washington joined 45 other CSRA students for the Augusta State University Conservatory Honors String Jamboree Saturday, October 18, at the Maxwell Theater for the Performing Arts.

The jamboree was organized by Conservatory director Dr. Quentin Kuyper. Under the direction of Ryan Kho, guest conductor for the ASU Symphony, the string jamboree played pieces by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Ernest Bloch, Astor Piazzolla, and Georg Goltermann.

Youth orchestra affiliations included Davidson Fine Arts, Suzuki Strings of Augusta, Greater Augusta Y.O., Aiken, Y.O, and Statesboro Y.S.

Genevieve is the daughter of Drs. Stan and Elizabeth Coe of Washington.
