The WWCHS Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) sponsored a Halloween costume contest for teachers and students during NBA Day Friday, October 31. NBA stands for "No Bad Attitude" and students are rewarded once per month for demonstrating good attitudes.

During NBA Day, students who exhibited good attitudes throughout August, September, and October, met in the gym for free time, music, dancing, food, and the Halloween costume contest. As part of the contest, the teachers participating met at half-court and stepped forward as their name was called. Students cheered for their favorite costume. Mrs. Belle Guin, dressed as an adorable Minnie Mouse, won favorite costume in the teacher category. She received a $15 prize which she donated back to FBLA.

Students in their own category of the costume contest participated in a parade where they walked in front the students as they cheered for their favorite costumes. The Best Original Costume Award was won by Miss Haley Ward. Miss Ward wore a sky blue shirt with cloud puffs made of cotton balls and she had a cloud puff hairdo. When she was asked what she was dressed as, she replied "Partly cloudy, with a chance of rain!" Then, she squirted the inquirer with water!

The Best Costume Award was won by Evan Harrison. Mr. Harrison was dressed as a clown - his act was just as entertaining as his costume. The Best Overall Costume Award was shared by Graham Wolfe and Lee Thomson. Mr. Wolfe was dressed as Father Time and Mr. Thomson was dressed as "L" Money. Each participant was awarded $15.
