Funeral services for Willie Floyd Hall, 55, of Walker Road, Rayle, were held Sunday, November 9, 2008, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Rayle, with Rev. Larry Norman officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died Thursday, November 6, in the University Hospital, Augusta.

Mr. Hall was a native of Wilkes County and the son of Jessie Mae Hall and the late Willie Ed Hall. He was a member of Young's Chapel Baptist Church and an outstanding musician and vocalist. He played for many churches in Wilkes County, including Flint Hill Baptist Church, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was known by family and friends as "Fluddy."

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Delores Willis Hall of Rayle; three children, Tico Hall and Lamika Hall of Athens, and Keidrick Hall, Rayle; his mother, Jessie Mae Hall of Washington; three grandchildren; his siblings, James Pettus, Willie Robert Wingfield, Frances Dorsey, Leroy Graves, Fred Hall, John Hall, Bobby Hall, and Jessie Johnson, all of Washington, Dennis Graves of Athens, and Ann Crawford of Anniston, Ala.

His brothers served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Male Chorus of Flint Hill Baptist Church.

Davenport-McLendon Mortuary, Inc., of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
