Girls of 1964 'do lunch'

"Girls" from the Washington-Wilkes High School Class of l964, Sandra Hardy Baynes (from left) Gail Wansley Mullinax, Melanie Craycraft Wells, Susan Hopkins Pope, Dorothy Bridges McCord, Barbara Long, Carol Duke Cloer, Dianne Russell Futch, Renda Blackmon Davis, Doris Dyson Bradshaw, Mary Donna Thornton Lunceford, Mackie Bryson Combs, Phyllis Maxwell Norman, Evelyn Clark Waters and Janice McAvoy Scott are pictured in front of the Washington Jockey Club following an impromptu lunch Saturday. A couple of members coming to Washington prompted a few quick calls to get together as many as possible for a luncheon that was enjoyed by all. Another gathering is planned for February 28 and any ladies from the class are welcome to attend. Plans were also discussed for a 45th reunion set for May 16 of next year.
