Julie Lewis (center) is welcomed to the Woman's Club by Vivian Walker, president, (left) and Paula Suggs, program chairman. Julie Lewis spoke to the Woman's Club at the meeting Monday, November 9, at the clubhouse.

Mrs. Lewis of State Farm Insurance was introduced by Paula Suggs. She presented an informative program on women's insurance.

Prior to her program, Vivian Walker presided. Dean Mansfield recognized and thanked the hostesses, Susan Branan, Janet Burgess, Cheryl Bentley and Nancy Madden, who decorated the clubhouse festively in a fall theme.

Gloria Britt of Snellville and Washington was a welcomed guest of Wanda White.

Chaplain Alice Lindsey gave a devotional "Thankful Hearts" and read a prayer, both by Helen Steiner Rice. She also offered the blessing for the luncheon and led the Pledge to the Flag.

After the luncheon Shelby Caddell thanked everyone for their support of the club's bake sale at Mule Day in October.

Members made pledges to the Salvation Army, Angel Tree, Pre- Release Center's Family Day, and Wills Memorial Hospital Foundation. They were also encouraged to save education box tops for the schools.

Following business, the meeting adjourned.
