Deborah Davis was guest of honor at a surprise 50th birthday celebration given by her mother, Pearl Voiers, and Benji and Sherri McAvoy of Washington.

The event was enjoyed Saturday evening, November 1, at the Washington Jockey Club.

Decorations for the event included a bouquet of black flowers and black balloons.

Guests enjoyed a variety of party foods prepared by the restaurant in addition to meatballs in honey barbeque sauce prepared by Mrs. McAvoy.

Mrs. Davis was also surprised with a black cake made by her niece, Kim Davis of Augusta.

A host of friends attended.
