Brenda Morgan Weber weds Richard Cecil Mills Oct. 18
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cecil Mills Brenda Morgan Weber and Richard Cecil Mills of Charleston, S.C., were united in marriage in a beach ceremony Saturday, October 18, at five-thirty o'clock in the afternoon at Folly Beach, S.C. Rev. David Michael of Folly Beach officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sarah Morgan and the late Clyde Morgan of Tignall.
The bridegroom is the son the late Cecil and Mildred Mills of Dallas, Tex.
The natural setting of the ocean and sand provided the decorations for the ceremony.
The bride's grandsons, Dustin and Drew Cofer, of Comer provided the pre-recorded setting of "The Bridal Chorus" for the processional.
Tracy Weber of Statesboro, son of the bride, served as best man. His attire was enhanced with a tropical fern leaf lei.
The bride's daughter, Renee Cofer of Comer, was her mother's only attendant. She wore a black sleeveless top gathered with a sequin brooch in the front and linen pants. A lei of hibiscus finished her ensemble.
Given in marriage by her son and daughter who also served as best man and matron of honor, the bride was radiant in a teal blue sleeveless tiered ruffled top worn over black linen pants. Her jewelry was a pearl necklace given to her by her daughter.
Around her neck was a lei of tropical fern leaf and pearls with hibiscus and stephanotis flowers accented with a Swarovski crystal cross.
She carried a bouquet of white stephanotis with pearl accents tied with white ribbon.
The bridegroom, clad in white long-sleeve button shirt and black slacks, wore a lei of tropical fern leaf accented with hibiscus.
All the wedding party were barefoot for the occasion.
For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Morgan chose cream-colored pants and top and a jacket in shades of brown and cream plaid.
Reception
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds entertained at a seated dinner reception at the Holiday Inn on Folly Beach.
Tables were covered in white with hurricane lamps accented with sand, shells and white candles.
The wedding cake, baked by the bride's sister, Juanita Williamson of Lexington, was a three-tiered confection featuring layers of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. The cake was decorated with pearls and shells and topped with a crystal heart with the bride and bridegroom's names and wedding date on top.

Twenty-four guests enjoyed the delicious seated dinner and included Tracy Weber of Statesboro; Sarah Morgan, Winfred Morgan and Marc and Heather Hammond of Tignall; Jeff and Renee Cofer of Comer; Scott and Juanita Williamson of Lexington; Tony and Kim Morgan of Thomson; Calvin and Lisa Mathis of Martinez; Rick and Fran Kugal of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; Dan and Nita Allen, Tim and Kelly Harris, Shane Allen and Kelly Dresch, all of Washington.
Following a wedding trip to Outer Banks, N.C., Mr. and Mrs. Mills are making their home in Charleston.
