TO THE EDITOR:

The Washington Rotary Club's 44th annual pancake supper was a huge success.

We served a record number and are grateful to everyone who purchased a ticket to the supper.

Proceeds are used for multiple projects, including scholarships, that benefit Wilkes County citizens.

We wish to express appreciation to the following whose contributions and help made this event possible.

Our thanks to the Wilkes County Board of Education, Washington Wilkes Interact Club, Thelma Moore, Ingles, Bi-Lo, Thompson Packing Co., South Star Propane, and our fantastic kitchen help, Dianne Bufford and Madelane Gresham.

We appreciate the publicity given to us by The News-Reporter and Radio Station WLOV.
