Applications for the 2009 Brown Bag program sponsored by the Golden Harvest Food Bank will be taken at the Wilkes County Senior Center, 108 Marshall St., Washington, from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, December 3 and 4.

Applicants must be at least 60 years of age and a full-time resident of Wilkes County. They must have proof of income for each person in the household.

The number of bags allocated for Wilkes County is limited and an application does not guarantee the receipt of a brown bag.
