Crystal Leigh Purdy Andrew Jonathan Jackson Tim and Laura Purdy of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Crystal Leigh, to Andrew Jonathan Jackson, son of Mike and Debbie Jackson of Tignall.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Milton and Billie Sue Roberts and the late Burns and Mildred Sayer Purdy of Washington.

She is a 2005 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School. She attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville for two years and is now in the Early Childhood Education program at Piedmont College in Athens with plans to graduate May 9, 2009. Miss Purdy is employed by Fievet Pharmacy in Washington.

Mr. Jackson is the grandson of the late Charles Robert (Bobby) Reville and Amy Reville Howard and the late Tabor and Jean Jackson of Tignall.

He is a 2003 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and attended Augusta State University in Augusta. Mr. Jackson is employed as a dairy feed salesman with Land-O-Lakes Purina Feed of Gainesville.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 30, at 6:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington.
