Engaged couple Karla Dawson and Josh Grimaud were entertained at a couple's shower Saturday evening, November 8.

The outdoor festivities were hosted by Crystal Purdy, Andy Jackson and Will and Samantha Callaway at the Callaway home in Washington.

Casual attire was the dress for the evening and the bride-elect wore a floral top over blue jean slacks. She was honored with a corsage of a red Gerber daisy tied with gold ribbon in keeping with the fall theme.

The buffet from which guests enjoyed hot wings, various dips and boiled peanuts was decorated with a pumpkin holding a fall floral arrangement. Picnic tables were topped with burlap and decorated with candle lanterns and fall leaves.

The couple was presented as hosts and hostesses gifts an outside fire pit, two chairs and two water hoses which were displayed with the many other gifts they received for their new home.

Fifty guests were invited.
