Lamont and Cathy Lannae enjoyed several days last week at Disney World in Orlando with their children and grandchildren, Ben and Robin Shackleford, Isabel, Ben Jr. and John, of Atlanta.

Pam Eaton enjoyed the weekend in Guyton with her grandchildren, Arcadian and Artemis Eaton, children of Ulysses and Linda Eaton.

Daniel Newsome of Atlanta and Molly Newsome of Athens enjoyed the weekend with Sparky and Mary Newsome. Joining the family Sunday for a birthday celebration honoring Mary Newsome were Justin and Elizabeth Holmes and Taylor Lindsey of Athens, and Jane and Smythe Newsome.

Among those from Washington attending the Fort Gordon Dinner Theater performance of "Forever Plaid Tidings" Friday evening were Buzzy and Jo Randall, Kermit Hocutt, Norma Alice Wallace, Rosemary Hopkins, Pug and Kay Nelms and Wayne and Sharon Williamson.

Avola Callaway, Lefreda Adair and Kathi Taylor attended the premier performance of the orchestral arrangement of the late R. E. Haughey's "Red and Black March" at the Hugh Hodgson Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Georgia Campus Thursday evening. Mr. Haughey was the grandfather of Bob Haughey of Washington-Wilkes and the ladies were Bob Haughey's guests for the performance.

Edward and Susan Pope were in Athens Thursday night to visit with John and Katherine Gentry, Anna and Caroline, and attend a birthday dinner honoring John Gentry at Outback. After dinner all returned to the Gentry home for cake and ice cream.
