Demetrius Porter will be the speaker and members of his church, New Hope Baptist Church of Crawfordville, and the choir will be special guests. Dinner will be served. All other churches are invited.

Wilkes County parents whose child's birth announcement appeared in The News-Reporter during 2008 have received letters with information about having their child's picture included on the Christmas Baby Page in December. Although The News- Reporter does not send letters to grandparents, grandchildren whose announcement appeared are eligible for sign-up by calling The News-Reporter at 706-678- 2636.
