The students in Kim Bearse's homeroom collected 130 cans of food, more than any other, in the recent drive at Washington-Wilkes Primary School for donation to God's Marketplace. Over 1,040 cans were collected by the school as a whole and similar drives are also underway at the county's other three schools.
