There was a pretty good attendance at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday. We still have a number of sick people not able to attend. Rev. Martin was back and preached a good Thanksgiving message from the 100th Psalm. Mrs. Martin is still recovering from surgery. We hope she will soon be well. ƒPam McCarty and Cheryle Holsclaw spent Thanksgiving Day in Jackson with other family members at the home of Tony and Angie Williamson. ƒJames and Judy Braxton and all their family celebrated Thanksgiving with other family members at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ashley in Thomson. ƒSue Davis spent Thanksgiving Day with Faye and Bill Scoggins and family in Augusta. ƒ Iris Dyson enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Lance and Sally Hopkins. Saturday afternoon she and John Hopkins of Athens visited Tad and Marcha Hopkins in Evans. Tad III, Kris and baby Libby of Eatonton joined them and they all had supper together. ƒGay and Whitney Branham spent Thanksgiving Day with Peggy Crochran and her family in Jefferson. ƒWhitney Branham was among the youth group of Tignall Baptist Church who went to Augusta Sunday afternoon to shop for gifts for the Angel Tree. At Christmas the church presents the gifts to needy families. Before coming home they enjoyed supper at Ce-Ce's Pizza. ƒIris Dyson has another new greatgranddaughter. Her parents are Adrien and Mark Spandle and her name is Meredith. ƒ Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting.
