Washington residents and guests enjoy week-long cruise aboard Carnival Glory
A group of First Baptist members and guests gathered for a worship service on Sunday morning aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship Glory. Forty-five eager travelers left Washington in the wee hours of Saturday morning, November 15, for Port Canaveral, Fla., where they boarded the Carnival Cruise Ship, Glory, for a week's tour.
Ports of call included Cozumel, Belize, Roatan in Honduras and Freeport, Bahamas and at each stop, the travelers enjoyed the shops, food and beautiful scenery.
The trip, organized by Roberta George, included a large number of members of First Baptist Church and on Sunday and Wednesday, they, with many of their guests, paused for worship services led by Rev. W. C. Bentley.
